Niviem Phase One

Quick Start · Version 1.0

Install

  1. Download the .component (AU) or .vst3 file
  2. Copy to your plugin folder:
    • Mac AU: ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
    • Mac VST3: ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
  3. Restart your DAW and scan for new plugins

Basic Usage

  1. Insert NIVIEM Phase One on any audio track
  2. Click a speed button: SLOW, MEDIUM, or FAST
  3. Done — you're now hearing the authentic PS-1A phaser sound

Speed Presets

Controls

Speed Buttons

Three colored buttons (Blue/Yellow/Red) select LFO rate. Speed transitions smoothly like a Leslie speaker.

Depth Knob

Controls wet/dry mix (0-100%). Only active in Modern Mode.

Vintage Toggle

  • ON: Authentic PS-1A behavior, Depth locked at 100%
  • OFF: Modern Mode with adjustable Depth and Tempo Sync

Sync Toggle

Locks LFO to DAW tempo. Only active in Modern Mode.

Bypass

Orange LED indicates active state. Click to bypass.

Quick Tips

  • For authentic sound: Enable Vintage Mode
  • For DAW sync: Disable Vintage, enable Sync
  • Best on: Guitars, keys, synth pads, vocals
  • Classic tones: Electric piano, funk guitar, ambient pads
  • Zero latency: Safe for live tracking
